Brahminy Starling is also known as Brahminy Myna and is a small robin sized bird. It is very sociable and often seen in pairs or large flocks throughout India and also in Nepal, eastern Pakistan and marginally into Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. It has a distinctive crest formed by extended crown feathers.
