Coppersmith Barbet

Coppersmith Barbet are close relatives of woodpeckers and they too make a hole in the tree for nesting. It is a resident bird found in whole of South Asia. Coppersmith Barbet is round and plump bird. The head is large and has short neck and tail. They are also known as Crimson-breasted Barbet and Crimson-headed Barbet.
