Green Bee-eater

Green Bee-eater also known as the Little Green Bee-eater is a small sized bird and is easy to spot due to its bright green plumage and a long tail. It is well known for it’s aerial acrobatics which it performs to catch insects in flight. After spotting an insect, it flies after its prey snapping it in mid-air and then circles back to its perch. It then hits the prey on the branch to make it tender or remove the sting and then eats it.
