The Common Chiffchaff is a widespread leaf warbler which breeds in northern and temperate Europe and Asia. It is a migratory passerine bird which winters in Europe, southern Asia and north Africa. It is also known as Chiffchaff Leaf-warbler, Brown Leaf-warbler, Eurasian Chiffchaff, Northern Chiffchaff and Chiff-chaff.
