The Black-naped Monarch is a slim and agile passerine bird belonging to the family of monarch flycatchers found in southern and south-eastern Asia. It is also known as Black-capped Monarch, Black-naped Blue Monarch, Black-naped Flycatcher, Black-naped Monarch-flycatcher, Philippine Black-naped Blue Monarch, Ceylon Azure Flycatcher, Pale-blue Monarch, Simeulue Monarch and Babi Monarch.
